The introduction of our first Audiovisual Control Software in 1999 was driven by our vision of giving the power to the user with an easy but powerful and open programming environment, using non proprietary hardware.

Medialon Manager 6 is a Windows® based control software. Its legendary ease of programming and reliability has made it widely used in simple as well as critical control applications such as: Museum media control, Theme Parks and Attractions Show Control, Architectural video & Lighting control, Convention Centers audio & video remote control, etc.

Medialon Manager can control any audiovisual equipment using any protocol and network. Being software based it integrates perfectly with IT opening a wide range of new applications. Control of audio & video streaming, links to database, media management, and facility wide control are not dreams any more.

Thanks to its easy graphical programming environment, application are programmed in much less time than with any other conventional control system, neither coding nor compilation is required.

Its native synchronization capabilities and its legendary Timeline with drag and drop programming makes it the ideal choice for Show Control Applications. However, complex logical task programming is also available.

Medialon Manager is hardware independent and relies on standard hardware from IT or audiovisual industries to connect to devices. The customer has the choice between proprietary or standard hardware making maintenance and upgrade far easier.

Medialon Manager can run in hidden mode where only custom designed interfaces are visible or in user mode allowing live edition. It comes with free Panel software for custom touch screen design.

A driver for virtually anything
Medialon Manager V6 uses Plug-in drivers called MxM (Manager X Object Modules) to control devices. It exists a wide range of MxMs for most popular devices on the market connected through Serial, Midi, Time Code, Infrared, Modbus, OPC, TCP/IP, etc.

Another Highlight of Version 6 are the integration of HTML User Interfaces. In the same way as you create the well knows GUI, you can create Webpanels. All with one tool! No seperate software needed. You can now control any show created with Medialon Manager from any HTML enabled device

Hardware independent
Independently from the plug-in drivers, Medialon Manager V6 uses a resource to physically connect to the device. This resource can be a Windows serial or relay card, a Windows over IP serial converter, and since version 5 other control hardware such as AMX NetLinx, Artistic Licence Artnet, Global Caché, etc.

Not just a device controller
Medialon Manager includes MxMs plug-ins to add functionalities or control the new type of devices found in modern AV/IT installations: SQL Database for data management, FTP Site for media management and transfer, Email engine, Telephony engine to build up a DTMF server, etc. Medialon Manager really uses the power of modern AV/IT.

An open network application
Medialon Manager is network oriented from its original first version. It not only controls many AV and IT devices over TCP/IP, but it also communicates with other Medialon Manager application on the same network. OpenCap, using MON protocol publishes tasks and User Screens to other Medialon Manager Applications for easy development of shared application. A SDK is also available as an API offering powerful interoperability tool to communicate with third party software or develop add on module in C++ or C#.

Unlimited topology
Thanks to its versatility, Medialon Manager can be deployed in various topologies ranging from the simple installation to complete facility wide control.

Show Control Machine PRO is a rugged industrial rack mountable PC customized for Medialon Manager Software, specifically designed for Show and Media Control applications.

Reliability
Show Control Machine PRO has been designed with critical applications in mind and every detail has been set to ensure maximum reliability when hardware failure is not an acceptable option.

- Industrial rugged case, with rigid mechanics to insure firm PCI card and accessories attachment.
- 4 hard drives in RAID-5 to ensure continuous operation in case of hard drive failure.
- Redundant power supply maintains power and warns operator with an alarm in case of failure.

Alarm & Maintenance
Show Control Machine PRO includes an alarm via buzzer for the fans and the redundant power supply, and a software watchdog that sends emails to the designated maintenance technician in case of application or machine reboot.

Extension & Accessories
Granted with 4 PCI slots, it accepts the same accessories as the Show Control Machine II and III, including RS232, RS422 PCI boards, Time Code boards, DMX512, and 32 I/O boards.

Show Control Machine PRO also includes 4 built-in serial RS232 ports and MIDI connectors.

A double SVGA output board allows an extra display which can be used either as a distant back-stage information panel or simply as an extension screen to increase visual comfort during programming.

Scheduler

Medialon Scheduler is a Windows based application to schedule any type of events programmed in Medialon Manager Show & Media Control software.

Medialon Scheduler is designed to schedule and supervise several exhibitions, shows or automation applications using Medialon Manager from one central location. It is ideal to operate all the exhibits of museums or science centers, all the venues and shows in cruise ships or theme parks or digital signage playback in large malls or corporate buildings.

Medialon Scheduler is a client server application allowing any number of operators to schedule any number of events in any number of Medialon Manager Applications over a network.

The central server runs as a Windows service while clients (user interface) and controlled applications (Medialon Manager PCs) are connected over TCP/IP.#

Showmaster ST

Showmaster ST is an all in one embedded Show Controller fitted with all necessary show protocol interfaces.

It controls and synchronizes dimmers, lighting desks, video projectors, video servers, sound processors, etc.

Showmaster ST also provides digital I/O.

Its free editing software, Showmaster Editor, embeds most of the features of our award winning technology such as devices synchronization & logical programming as well as real time testing.

The MIP HD Player  is a rugged Player, which was especially build for playback-applications in Museums, guided tours, on Point-Of-Sale and Point-Of-Interrest applications.

MIP HD is a compact player able to playback both multimedia content such as Flash, Html, Jpeg and even URLs as well as 1080p HD video. Interactive media such as Flash keep their interactivity if needed.

• Its built-in web server provides web user interface to remotely upload media, to build up playlists and to schedule and retrieve log files.
• Its Sync Video mode allows synchronization of unlimited number of HD video playback via the network.

MAS Pro Audio Server

Medialon MAS Pro Audio Server is a Professional audio server for both multi-track application as well as multi zoning.

Every of the independ CobraNet Channels can be synchronized with video or other effects. The CobraNet channels can be synchronized together or by groups, and can be started independently or by groups. Its high quality CobraNet interface provides state-of-the-art audio quality.

It can be synchronized to time code through a Medialon Control System. Although MAS Pro includes a remote application to upload media and start media individually, it delivers its full capabilities being controlled by a Medialon Control System.

MAS Pro is designed to ensure maximum reliability for demanding live entertainment or rides audio control, as well as for centralized control of large amount of audio channels in museums or showrooms.

The MAS Pro Audioserver is available with 16 or 32 CobraNet Channels.

You provide the list of equipment to be controlled and the functionalities needed, we will return block diagram, check the feasibility, list necessary MxMs and drivers and all needed experimented advices.
