V1 high definition video disk recorders offer the superior resolution of high definition video in a compact stand alone package. Record and playback of SD or HD video, compressed or uncompressed, on internal removable drives. These devices are mainly used for events, trade shows and broadcast studios.

The V1-UHD series features uncompressed HD video recording with 4:2:2 processing for applications where the image quality cannot be compromised. According to the model and the requested recording time the units can be fitted with an internal drive, a removable drive or a RAID-Array connection.

The V1-HD-2K is suitable for compressed recording: by means of JPEG-2000, a virtually lossless compression is obtainable and the signal processing in 4:4:4 contributes to an optimum image quality.

The DCT series is suitable for applications where you have to find different solutions due to budgetary reasons. These devices can only process SD signals, not HD signals.

The DCT series features compressed recording and 4:2:2 processing; the recording quality can comfortably be adjusted. The storage place requirement is lower than with the V1 series.

The Nugget series is the optimum solution for high definition video playback. Its superior resolution HD video is a perfect match for the new generation of video projectors, LCD and plasma displays that feature native resolution far superior to standard definition video.

Separate encoders provide these players with MPEG2 files. 

The ORCA encoders are designed to meet the most demanding video encoding needs with their real-time MPEG2 encoding of HD video up to 160Mbits/sec.

If you need more than 1 channel simultaneously you can use the Multi-Channel-Server (MCS): up to 2 recording and playback channels can be used simultaneously for applications with SD or HD. 

Slow motion applications can be realised using one channel for recording and the second channel playing back live this recording - but in slow motion.

The units can be fitted with a front panel mounted LCD video monitor for preview. 

The number of audio inputs and outputs can easily be increased with cards for AES/EBU respectively for analogue audio.

The GPI option allows for an easy control by contact closure by means of which up to 4 functions of the recorder can be controlled.

A redundant power supply for an increased operating reliability is available.

Depending on the product and the application you can get the suitable hard disks from doremi either for internal installation or a removable hard disk or RAID-5 Array.

Doremi offers 3 compact video converters for high quality conversion (4:4:4 processing) of digital signals such as DVI or SD/HDSDI.

A video test generator for SD/HDSDI is also part of the product range. It provides still and moving test patterns in SD and HD formats at full broadcast quality.
